American writer, whose memoir was adapted to film, failed in family life.

The author of the bestseller “Eat, pray, love” Elizabeth Gilbert told fans that after more than 12 years of happy life she and her husband Jose Nunez decided to split up.

In 2006, the United States published a memoir, “Eat, pray, love” Elizabeth Gilbert, in which the woman spoke about their wonderful love story. From 1994 to 2002 she was married to Michael Cooper. After the divorce, Elizabeth went on a journey across Italy, India and Indonesia, during stay in Bali, she met her future husband, josé Nunes.
