Evgeniy Stychkin will perform in an unusual version of Gioachino Rossini’s Opera “Barber of Seville”, dedicated to the adventures of Figaro. Stychkin will participate in drama project “FORTUNATISSIMO or HOPELESSLY HAPPY PEOPLE,” based on the Opera hit, the play by Beaumarchais and the composition by a contemporary composer Kuzma Bodrov.

Together with Eugene in the play will be attended Maestro Yuri Bashmet and his chamber ensemble
“Moscow soloists”, as well as young Opera
stars Andrew Jelihovsky, Gift
Savinov, Nikolay Didenko, Yuri Gorodetsky, Eugene Chernyadev and
Margarita Kalinina (many of these musicians are singing leading roles at the Bolshoi theatre).

The author, Director and set designer “FORTUNATISSIMO” became the St. Petersburg Director Victor Kramer. He brought on stage a large-scale stage facility — “music machine” in which the famous Aria of Figaro will turn into foam of the show, the villain Basil would be a juggler, beautiful Rosina will be transformed into a magnificent blooming Bush, and viewers will be treated to the pasta cooked right on the stage.
