Amanda’s apartment in Santa Monica has a modest area of only 58 square meters. At the same time, when she undertook the repair and decoration, the task of saving was also highly relevant. In the course went all: old furniture inherited from friends, items from flea markets, random finds. The combination of different texture materials, like weathered boards with textiles and paper even became a kind of visual highlight of the interior. Amanda admits that she found it difficult to get rid of memorabilia, however, in a small area to store lots of knick-knacks — not a good idea. Where possible, they tried to make sure things were not only beautiful but also functional. For example, almost every piece of furniture has a built-in storage space.

Another important point in the organization space — a precise plan of arrangement of furniture. Each item has its particular place, and the apartment was a separate room for the office due to the fact that the bed decided to lift above the floor in the living room.
