Directorial debut of Chad Stahelski “John Wick” in 2014 returned to the big screen Keanu Reeves. In the Thriller, in which Reeves appeared before us in the image of a former assassin suffering from the loss of his wife and criticism found a worthy plot and overall appreciate it. Such a reaction from critics and audiences on the movie, gave the Director reason for beginning work on the sequel.

In February 2015 it was announced the continuation of the movie, where the main role was entrusted Keanu again.

“It’s always the most important thing, said the Directors about the actor. — If there is great action, but when you have a character that nobody likes and has no charisma, you are not going to look at him. Look at any great action star, be it Harrison Ford, Liam Neeson or Robert Downey Jr: first of all, you love the hero. No matter good or bad action, you just like it in action. In short, we want to be sure that we have a history and a character, who loved everyone”.

At the moment the plot of the sequel is unknown. However, Reeves recently said that he liked working on “John Wick” and he would gladly took part in the continuation and after the release of the second part: “don’t like John Wick. We had a great time recreating this story on screen -said the actor in a recent interview with Collider. — I can not say that we are enthusiastically discussing the plot development and character. In stock we still have some great ideas, and we think what it could be choose to continue work on a new level”.

Note that the second part of “John Wick” our hero will meet with old and new enemies. Additional characters will play ruby rose, Riccardo Scarpaci and Peter Stormare.

Premiere of the new film will take place on 10 February 2017.
