The Duchess of Cambridge refused to congratulate the Irish guard St. Patrick’s Day.

Tomorrow, 17 March, Kate Middleton will not be present at the parade of Irish soldiers who serve in Britain, in honor of their national holiday – St. Patrick’s Day. The representatives of the monarchy reported that the Duchess of Cambridge is going to get out of London in the County of Norfolk, where are her children. Thus, to congratulate the troops and to give them the clover, a symbol of the celebration, Prince William.

The regiment of the Irish army, recall, was formed in Britain in April 1900 by Queen Victoria. A year later Queen Alexandra, consort of king Edward VI, introduced the tradition to congratulate the troops from Ireland, giving them clover.

Kate Middleton started to participate in the parade since March 2012, replacing the post Princess Anna. In the past year with her has congratulated the Irish and Prince William.

Tomorrow for the first time in 115 years the parade will be only one of the British monarchs. It is not known how this event is reacted to Queen Elizabeth II. I hope Middleton had good reason to leave the capital of great Britain.
