“This celebration is special with the Christmas bustle and hassle, and tradition. We follow them with hopes and belief in the best. The outgoing year for each person, for each family was, of course, his own. Some would call it successful. Someone is a tough time coping. But each of us, I am sure, sought to achieve the set plans. Wanted to do something good for the country, for the people around us, to their loved ones, for those who are close and need our help and support,” the President said.

Mr Putin also congratulated all the attendees with the imminent onset of the 2018 and proposed a toast to Russia. The head of state was supported with applause. It is worth noting that the President regularly were photographed with guests of the evening, as his press Secretary Dmitry Peskov. No less attention was riveted to the charming Tatiana Navka. The sports star came out in a long white dress decorated with unusual application.
