The team of Director Alan Badoev and singer Zara arrived in
Arab Emirates to shoot a new video for the song “Millimeters”. “We’re shooting a story about people, filled with love for each other. But as the summer and winter – they can’t be together, — said Alan Badoev. — The plot is built on symbols, metaphors and feelings. The desert with its unique atmosphere, the curves of the dune with its warmth is a continuation of Zerah, and the powerful, the majestic mountains will be the element of our hero-men.”

For the video chose two completely opposite
location: hot desert, al-qudrah (Dubai) and the snow-capped Carpathians. The United Arab Emirates Zara arrived just for two days.”On the set in the sanctuary of al-qudrah outside
tourist area, it was necessary to arrive at 3-4 am: light day in the desert
not too long, and manage to capture had a lot of material
says Zara. Then, as I was tired and understood only in the hotel, falling on
bed. Alan’s got the talent to charge all his energy, with him you have all the time in
tone. I was in a thin, weightless dresses, as soon as the sun fell over
the horizon, I was filled almost icy wind. Immediately ran up costume,
the makeup and wrapped me in three blankets”.

“In the desert is really changeable weather — confirms the words of the singer, the operator
Vladimir Skljarevski. Several times we had to stop
shooting because of the rain, and the first day we got into a sandstorm, which was quite
not at hand, because equipment (cameras, tripods, lenses) can break one any trapped grit. Fortunately, there were no casualties”.

In Dragobrat (Carpathians), the crew went without
singer. In the story, that’s where the main character begins his journey to meet his second half. The actor Dmitry Ivanov had to deal with
real cold and snow: a thin overcoat, which he wears in the clip, absolutely
not protected from freezing temperatures and constant, bone-chilling
wind.
