The national actor Leonid Bronevoy is dead this morning. He was 88 years old. The sad news was announced by Director of the Moscow theatre “Lenkom” mark Varshaver.

“Today at 07:30 has died the national actor of the USSR Leonid Sergeyevich Bronevoy,” — said Varshaver.

Armor is remembered for her roles in such films as “Seventeen moments of spring”, “the Pokrovskie gate”, “the very Munchausen”.

Armor has been sick. In 2012, he suffered a heart attack and was forced to stop performing. In the urban Center heart, he had surgery. However, in the spring of 2014 he was able to go on stage in a production of “the Cherry orchard”. This performance was the last work in the theater Armor.

The last month of his life Leonid Bronevoy was in the hospital. His condition was deteriorating. 20 days ago he was transferred to the intensive care unit. The funeral of Leonid Sergeevich is engaged in the theatre “Lenkom”.
