In the Bank the crew of the film “Paradise” has a new
awards. At the 35th Munich film festival, the film Director Andrei
Konchalovsky was awarded the prize of Bernhard Vicky “Bridge”, which bears the name of the Award
world, and actress Julia Vysotskaya received the prize for best female
role in a foreign film.

The peace prize was established in 2002 Memorial Foundation
Bernhard, Vicki, Austrian Director and actor, the world fame that
brought the film “the Bridge” — the tragic story of the senseless defense of the crossing in
the end of the Second world war. The prize is awarded to filmmakers whose work
helps to build bridges, proclaiming the values of humanism and tolerance.

The ceremony was held at the cuvillies-Theater. It was built in
the middle of the XVIII century for the Bavarian rulers by the court architect of the
from Francois Cuville. Here in 1781, Mozart himself presented his
new Opera Idomeneo. During the Second world war the theatre was badly damaged
and reopened only in 1958.

The Munich film festival is held since 1983 and is
the second largest in Germany after the Berlinale.
