In every biography of the Olympic champion on rhythmic gymnastics Alina Kabaeva written that gave it a professional sport at the age of three and a half years. Of course, the girl herself at the moment nothing is decided. Alina’s mother, Lyubov, wanted this — and Kabaeva started her difficult but successful way to sports victories and glory.
It appears, however, that it was not so, or rather, not exactly.
“Recently I was in Tashkent and talked with her grandfather, and something about rhythmic gymnastics talking. And he said, “And you know how they got into gymnastics thanks to whom?”. I said, “Well, mom wanted me to gymnastics to give”. And my grandfather worked in the sports Committee. In our area, where we lived, it was not rhythmic gymnastics, and he loved this sport and he helped to open the section in a secondary school. And so here came the section where we went, I and my cousin, but, I stayed,” says Kabaeva.
After finishing this section, Alina came to portalseite “Labor reserves”. And 11-year-old budding athlete along with her mother moved to Moscow. Here Kabaeva took famous coach Irina Viner-Usmanova, whom Alina considers a very important person in my life. But as it turned out, if not for grandpa, maybe it would not be Russia champion Kabaeva.
Alina herself says that children must give to the sport. It trains your will and character, and develops physique. And the most suitable sport for girls is, of course, gymnastics. For example, my daughter if she Kabaeva, the athlete will necessarily lead to their school.
“If possible, and be a girl, I would have gladly gave to gymnastics. We have choreography, and physical activity, and wonderful music. Again – the staff. So sport is great. I have all the little girls say that they champion, because they come to work, overcome itself,” said Kabayeva in an exclusive interview with TV channel “MIR”.
