Ekaterina Selezneva became a real discovery at this championship. She never had to participate in the competition, but a few days before the opening of the Olympics, the girl became part of the Russian national team, replacing four-time world champion Alexander Soldatov.

Head coach of Russia in rhythmic gymnastics commented on her debut: “we Have a new name — Ekaterina Selezneva, the world champion in exercise with a Hoop”.

The conclusion of the world Cup in rhythmic gymnastics will be held September 22, 2019. Thanks Katerina, Russia has earlier won this contest, after all, on account of the country in the medal count: 5 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze medals.
