Свадебный наряд Миддлтон оказался в центре скандала

On the eve of the fifth anniversary of the wedding of Kate Middleton and Prince William sparked a serious scandal around the wedding dress of the Duchess.

Little-known designer from Hertfordshire Christine Kendall has accused the fashion house Alexander McQueen in the plagiarism. According to her, Sarah Burton stole the wedding dress design Kate Middleton that she, Christine, was invented long before the future Duchess of cooperation with the British fashion house.

As reported by the Western media, Kendall was suing Alexander McQueen, accusing him of copyright infringement. The claim amount is not small – 500 thousand pounds sterling. Of course, the court Christine went not with empty hands. As evidence of his innocence she has provided their own sketches of the ill-fated wedding outfit and a letter of thanks from Buckingham Palace. According to the Brits, she sent examples of his work in the hope that sewing a wedding dress for Kate will charge it.

Representative Alexander McQueen already gave comments to the press, saying that absolutely baffled by these accusations. “Christine Kendall first contacted us about four years ago. Then and now we stands his ground: the information that Sarah Burton (creative Director of the brand) stole someone’s design Royal dresses, is nonsense. Sarah Burton never seen a single creation or sketch miss Kendall”, – he reported.

Why Christine Kendall again returned to this question remains a mystery. Perhaps she chose this time not by accident: April 29 – wedding anniversary Kate and William.
