Actress Cynthia Nixon announced the beginning of the struggle for a post of the Governor.

Star women in politics is not new, but still achieve such high posts as Governor of new York, solved a few. Apparently, 51-year-old Cynthia Nixon thinks she is strong enough and able to confront the candidates who are male.

“I love new York today to announce my candidacy for Governor” – wrote the star in his personal blog, thus officially beginning his campaign. Nixon is not a member of any political party, so it will have to rely only on a simple state residents – as long as they support the current head of Andrew Cuomo.
