The head of state answered the question of a possible candidate for the presidency. Ksenia Sobchak told about the difficulties faced by it personally in preparation for the upcoming elections. She learned how Vladimir Putin relates to the competition.

At the end of October, the presenter and chief editor of a glossy magazine Ksenia Sobchak announced that it intends to participate in the presidential elections of 2018. Today, 14 December, she appeared at a press conference the head of the Russian Federation. The journalist noted that earlier Vladimir Putin said that he wants a balanced political system, which is impossible without competition. However, he noted that today in our country there is no competition, as many young people do not know about the events that took place in the political life of the country in the 90-ies and 2000-ies. “I’m not the most competitors to live,” — said Putin.

A few hours later, a press conference Ksenia Sobchak returned to this theme. She admitted that it is difficult for her to prepare for the election campaign. In her opinion, this is due to the fact that the government does not want competition. Mr Putin noted that it is not, and expressed his opinion on the position of the opponent.

“The opposition should come up with a clear, positive programme of action. You go under the slogan “Against all”. Is that a positive program of action? What do you suggest to solve the problems that we mentioned?” – said the head of state.

Putin also noted that some of the opposition want to destabilize the country. According to him, most Russians do not wish to see such developments. Prigogine refused to vote for Sobchak in the presidential election

Mr Putin assured that the competition will be. Moreover, today it became known that he intends to participate in upcoming elections as independent candidate and not representing any party or public organization. While Putin did not speak about their program as it does not match the format of the meeting.
