Vladimir Pozner for the first time participates in the musical project — a multimedia performance “the Devil, the soldier and the violin” (based on “soldier’s Story” and other works by Igor Stravinsky). And its partners will become members of the TV show “dancing” Alexander of Thrones and Anna del’tsova Andrey Makarevich, a famous pianist Polina Osetinskaya.

“Hell, soldier, and violin” is a new interpretation of the famous “history of
soldier” by Stravinsky, timed to the 135th anniversary of the
the composer and the 100th anniversary of the work itself. The idea of staging was born violinist and conductor Dmitry Sitkovetsky. He included in the play in addition to tunes from “the history of
soldier” rooms and other works of Stravinsky, written at about the
same time — “Mavra”, the ballet “fairy’s Kiss”.

The assumption on the fairy tale about “a fleeing soldier and
boundaries” from the collection Afanasyev in the style of “reechnogo verse”, similar to modern rap: “…Past the river, past meadows,
on the highway “Derbent – Kaluga” it was the soldiers of their country in an undeclared war.”

Now 19 December in the hall of Tchaikovsky, you can watch the new version of this story (the premiere took place in the framework of the festival “Chereshnevy Les” in may of this year).
