The young actor had to grow up early. Gleb Kalyuzhny told “StarHit” about their difficult fate. Despite the fact that he had a lot of work, he managed to star in a movie, and studying music.

On channel TV-3 has launched an unusual project “to Be or not to be”: it was the audience decide which of the new TV series they want to watch. After the pilot releases, the audience votes on the website “IMDb” for any picture. Now define the fate of the series “Kids”, where a Central role was played by 19-year-old actor Gleb Kalyuzhny. The young man said “StarHit” about their difficult fate since the age of 15 he became virtually head of the family. Three years ago the artist began to earn money to help his mother and younger brothers and sisters.

When you were invited to play a role in the series thought for a long time, so if you want to participate or not?
I agreed without even thinking about it: I loved it when they Sayfullaeva and as a Director and as a person. Impressed with her creative approach to work, and she always treated understandingly to each of the members of the crew. We shot in August 2015, is actively preparing for in July.—
Tell us about the nature of your hero’s Tribute. If he commits some acts that you think are unacceptable?
My character is a typical teenage problems and complexes: he tries to dress fashionably, but can’t afford it, so it looks strange, sometimes even ridiculous. He likes the girl a lot older – and she certainly pays no attention to him. His parents fight constantly, with the elder brother uneasy relationship. These problems almost we all faced in adolescence, so get used to the role was simple: it reminded me of myself five years ago – their behavior and feelings in similar situations.

In this project you worked on together with Yevgeny Tsyganov, Evgenia Brik. They gave some tips for working on the Playground?
Evgenia Brik, we almost never encountered on the set – we had no shared scenes. And with Yevgeny Tsyganov I have been able to work on the project “Red band society”: at the time of the filming of “Children” I was familiar with it well, and the complexities on the court with him did not arise. He is a very talented actor and something actually worked and where it was suggested.—
You have a big family in which you previously took the place of the head of the family. What are the feelings experienced in connection with this responsibility?
Since childhood mentally I was preparing myself for what I have become head of the family. I realized that I need to start working early to help my mom – for me it was absolutely natural way, and I never had any regrets about it. I’m a man and needs to help his family. There’s no heroism. I went to work from the age of 15 and from that age provided loved ones. —
Your mom probably worked hard to feed his family. Who remained younger brothers and sisters?
My mom was busy for 17-18 hours a day, raised me, my brother and sister, rented an apartment in Moscow, helped and still helps relatives and close friends of our family. Six to eight years, we were looked after by the grandmother, after we could be alone for the whole day. I’m so grateful to my mom for everything she did for us: it is thanks to her and her upbringing I matured early and began to realize some very important things. She is very strong-willed, wise woman. I can confidently say for me, my mom is the best, and I would never want another family. —
How have you combined work and study?
At some point, I took the documents from the institution in which he studied after school, as awfully was tired. I had many interruptions, in parallel, I worked as a waiter, began musical career – and the learning does not remain time. —
As a mom, you encouraged during this period?
My mother always told me that is very proud of me and will support in any situation. Most importantly she gave me the freedom of choice, which is very important for a teenager in this lifetime.

What difficulties you had to face at that time?
Had everything: a job often did not take because of age and lack of experience, and the pay was low, and cheated, and when I worked as a waiter picked up the tip the most. But each of these situations really taught me a lot.—
Do you remember what did you spend your first earned money?
They sold out very quickly: we have distributed the debts that have accumulated over a long time, paid for a rented apartment for a few months in advance. Later I bought the car – it is very useful when you have such a big family. —
How did you get into the world of cinema?
The producers found me, “Vkontakte” and invited to the casting. At first I didn’t believe it, but still decided to go – I was approved for the main role in “14+”. Free time I never had: if I didn’t work, then studied music and self-development.

That is the acting career was not your goal?
I never dreamed about this and never once thought to abandon this profession because of certain reasons. But something each time, leads me to the movies again and again: apparently, everyone has their own way, and I must go own.—
Probably, at first it was difficult? Mom is not dissuaded from a career? See you in another profession?
I can’t say that faced with some serious challenges in her acting career: on the contrary, this profession has opened and continues to open me all the new facets of understanding and perception of the external and internal world. I really like what I do, and what I want everyone to gain in this life itself, and a favorite thing. In the beginning it was difficult for me to see hypocrisy on the part closest to me at that moment: someone didn’t believe in me, jealous of someone. But my mom, again, always wished me the best and did everything to ensure that I had opened any doors. She supported me in endeavors and trusted my choice is the most important thing she could do. Everything goes on as usual. As they say, all the time. Ahead of me waiting for the vertices, where no one has gone before.

You still are successful in their musical project. How did the idea to create a duet?
Gregory Sukhov we are familiar with in 2009 – during this time we have established fraternal relations, we are practically family. Our tandem there since 2016, but to officially call themselves a group of “2man” we decided only at the beginning of 2017. I can’t name a specific moment when we came up with the idea of a joint project: what the circumstances, and we very naturally came to that decision. —
Music already brings you income?
At the moment we are financially more invested in the project than to receive. But the result is obvious – we are confident that we would see a breakthrough this year.
