Because I realize completely unexpected ideas. My clients are the same. Often we create jewelry together. So, a year and a half ago I was approached by Oleg Menshikov. On the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the Yermolova Theatre, which he directs, he wanted to create memorabilia. The main element is the famous Yermolova portrait of a brush of Serova. I did it in the enamel and put them on rings, brooches and earrings. So there was a collection of “Tverskaya, 5”. Of the ornaments he gave to the honored artists of the theater. For myself, Oleg acquired at least five brooches. Perhaps, the most beloved – ORDEN gold-plated silver, black rhodium and enamel, studded with bright stones. With another one of my friends – Olympic synchronised swimming champion Angelika Timanina. She literally gave me my idea. Together we came up with the Soviet Memories collection – miniature earrings in the form of dolls, caps from yogurt and familiar from childhood with jars of sturgeon caviar.
