The Fund
Gift of Life held the seventh charity? evening in favor of
wards of the Russian Fund “give life” at the hotel “Savoy?” in London. On
the evening raised more than 400,000 pounds (31 million rubles) in
help children c cancer and
hematological diseases.
The hosts of the evening were
co-founder of the Fund “give life” actress Chulpan Khamatova and actor Igor Vernik. Among the guests were: the artist Erik Bulatov, actor and Director Ralph Fiennes, actors
ballet Natalia Osipova and Sergei Polunin, soloist and conductor Vladimir Spivakov,
Opera singer Hibla Gerzmava.

Vladimir Spivakov has introduced a special program
consisting of his favorite pieces: “sentimental Waltz” by Schubert,
“Hungarian dance in g major” by Brahms, “the soul of man” Schnittke. World famous Opera diva Hibla Gerzmava sang
a number of works, including “Legend” Tchaikovsky Neapolitan song
Donizetti, Musetta Waltz from the Opera “La Boheme” by Puccini and the Russian folk song
“Travushka-muravushka”.

the evening created an atmosphere full of jazz, perfect for meetings
The Old New Year. Charity new year’s eve in London also
arrived 15-year-old William YAP, which last year completed the main
stage of treatment for acute lymphoblastic leukemia. William is studying at Central
music school at the Moscow Conservatory and came to London to
to play on one stage with Vladimir Spivakov and make a gift to all who
help out in other wards of the Fund. Guest of the evening was former ward
Fund, now a young lawyer Nikita Merkulov. Nikita finished treatment
lymphoma in 2008 and his recovery has become possible thanks to the help
benefactors.

In the framework of the evening was the charity? auction
which? had Igor Vernik. Big? interest from the public has caused such
items like lunch with Natalia Vodianova in Paris, tickets for the London premiere
ballet with Natalia Osipova tickets for the premiere showing of the ballet “Nureyev”
The Bolshoi theatre, tickets for the London premiere of the movie “the White Raven”
With Ralph Fiennes and Chulpan Khamatova, one of the best resorts on the

annual
membership in The Lanesborough Club & Spa, through an internship at the BBC, Reuters, Celebromedia, a visit to Kinotavr, with
complete accreditation. All the lots were donated to
charity auction friends funds Podari zhizn and Gift of Life.
At the end of the evening the three
lucky lottery winners waited for a unique gift: limited
lithograph “FORWARD” with the signature of the legendary Russian artist Eric Bulatov.
That picture of Bulatov “FORWARD” was the theme of the evening: Go to full
victory over the disease!
