This year Easter is celebrated on April 16. It then ends with lent, which lasts seven weeks. On this occasion the coming Sunday in Moscow near the Christ the Savior Cathedral held a festive flash mob. The youth plans to please all citizens – to bake a huge cake, the weight of which would be a ton.

Before the holiday, on Holy Saturday, the delicacy and consecrate the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church. On Sunday, starting at 18:00, anyone will be able to taste the cake immediately after the service and congratulations of his Holiness Patriarch Kirill.

After the great Vespers, there will be a traditional flashmob. The participants are planning to build a 20-meter figure in the form of Easter eggs on the stylobate of the Temple of Christ the Savior. It is noteworthy that the composition will change color, and inside plan to depict the letters “XB”.

The tradition of the flash mob at the Youth Department of the Moscow diocese was born in 2014. Then more than 500 people have expressed their desire to become part of the holiday. Young people lined up in huge letters “XB”, and then released into the sky red balloons.
