Unknown hacked the accounts of celebrities in iCloud and disseminated online photos. Only two years later, the police managed to establish the identity of the criminal. They found 36-year-old Ryan Collins (Ryan Collins), who pleaded guilty in court.

Collins lives in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and works at the company e-Commerce Listrak. He is married and has two children. The hacker sent out e-mail letters on behalf of the support and thus have access to data. He hacked into the iCloud accounts of users 50 and 72 Gmail account. According to the law for the theft of personal information he faces a prison term of up to five years.

The first offender in this case was the engineer Brian Hamad (Bryan Hamade). But during the investigation it became clear that the man didn’t hacked the accounts.

“Having access to the intimate life of victims in an illegal way, Mr. Collins has invaded their privacy and caused them emotional stress for a long period and lack of a sense of security. We strongly recommend online users to strengthen passwords and the most wary of messages with requests to provide personal information,” said Deputy Director of the division of the FBI in Los Angeles David Bowdich.
