The child was born with a rare heart defect that required immediate open heart surgery, which was conducted by doctors from Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. In just 10 days, the host decided to share with its viewers feelings and emotions that he experienced during this terrible ordeal. After 3 months, Kimmel informed all about his son.

The famous presenter Jimmy Kimmel Live! gave an interview with “Hollywood Reporter”, where he shared with readers details about the state of the baby and his future. Kimmel said that the boy will need another two operations on open heart. “He needed to undergo two open-heart operations. We want to get this over with and stop thinking about it all the time. But it could be much worse,” shares the optimism leading.

“He’s doing fine.” continues Kimmel on the current state of Billy. “Billy the kid today for the first time visited our office. He plays the fool. It translates Flaubert from French to English. It is truly an amazing child. Okay, just kidding. But it really is. He is very interested in ceiling fans. He loves them very much. I can even pay the same price as Netflix, but that he could look at the fan.”

Kimmel says that before the baby was born, they did not even know anything about heart surgery. The birth of a baby is associated by the parents with the stress and difficulties that they have experienced.

“I felt like I was in some TV show where there was something terrible,” Kimmel explains, “there were many bustling people. But I knew that he will not be able to help. They diligently kept me informed of what is happening, but I like that they were completely focused on it and not even worried about me.”
