The main suspect was the son of the artist.

Before he was sentenced, according to which the son of the legendary Zavyalova was found guilty.

A man was sentenced to eight years in prison.

“The consequence and court it is established that Zavyalov, being in an alcohol intoxication, on the night of 3 February 2016 in one of the apartments of the house 6 on the street Havre, on the ground of suddenly arisen personal aversions stabbed his mother, Alexander Zavyalov, 1936 year of birth, honored artist of Russia, who died at the scene from the received stab wounds. The verdict Zavyalov was sentenced to 8 years of imprisonment with punishment serving in a corrective colony of strict regime”, – the press service of the Investigative Committee.
