Российские пограничники порвали паспорт певца из Израиля из-за его гомосексуальности

Israeli singer Howie Old accused Russian border guards of homophobia. The contractor, which this year will represent her country at the international music competition Eurovision with the song “Made of stars”, stated that the authorities deliberately … broke up his papers.

Howie does not even think to hide his sexuality, he is brightly dressed and painted. It is not surprising that it drew the attention of the Russian border guards, however, following their actions he couldn’t really explain.
“The problem I have started back at passport control in Russia. The border guards told me that I can’t go. The reasons they never explained, just took my passport and tore it. I think it’s the problem with people like me. Maybe they didn’t like my style of clothing or makeup” — said the musician and added that he does not hold a grudge against officers. He is for equality, love and forgiveness. Will he take some action against the Russians in the legal plane – is still unknown.
