Rapper L One has released a music video for the song
“Hockey players”. This composition is created on motives of the Soviet smash hit “the Coward does not play hockey”, which
at the time, was performed by Vadim Mulerman and Edward hill. A modern version of this hit was included in the official soundtrack to the series “Chernobyl 2.
Exclusion zone”, the premiere of the final episodes which will be aired today on TV-3.

for “Chernobyl” we didn’t use any ready sample, — said the rapper. — All songs
filled with live instruments in a variety of styles from funk and gospel
to hip-hop. I love the music of the Soviet cinema. And the songs of the time
make only regret that the manner of execution is gone. Therefore,
when I was asked to write a soundtrack with references to the old Soviet hits, I
he gladly accepted”.

Retro themes
the soundtrack of the series is set for a reason. The action of the second season of “Chernobyl”
starts in an alternate reality: in the retro-futuristic Soviet Union
which is not broke, but rather has become a superpower,
flagship technologies and global trendsetter. Hymns this reality — the song “Echo”,
“The world is not simple”, “Beautiful far”, “Wind of change”, “Maple”, “Hockey”, “Pursuit of happiness” in modern processing
rap performed by L One.
