61-year-old actress Michelle Pfeiffer came to the capital for the premiere of the continuation of the picture “Maleficent”.

The actress’s visit coincided with a sharp deterioration in the weather Moscow – the city was covered with autumn rain and cold wind, but that did not stop Pfeiffer to pose for photographers on the roof of one of the most luxurious hotels with stunning views of Red square and the Kremlin. Michelle opted for a black pantsuit, matching it with sandals on a high heel and a bright piece in the form of a silk scarf.

Later Pfeiffer answered questions of journalists at the press conference. This is the second visit of the actress in our country – previously it was here in the 80-ies and participated in the filming of “the Russian house”. The star said that he had spent in the Soviet Union for almost two months and was pleasantly surprised by the hospitality of the Russian people: “Since I wanted to return to Russia as a tourist, to see how the country has changed over the years” – admitted the actress.

A new film featuring Pfeiffer’s “Maleficent: mistress of the dark” will be released on Russian screens on October 17. To their roles in the sequel came back Angelina Jolie (Maleficent) and Elle fanning (Aurora). Michelle got the role of Queen Ingrid: “I Always dreamed of a fairytale role. My character is very bossy woman, she knows what she wants and how to achieve this. She’s smart, cunning and not stop at nothing to achieve a goal. Ingrid is a dangerous rival. But in our film there are two very strong female character Maleficent and Aurora. They believe in their truth,” said Pfeiffer, and added: “I was very pleased to work with Angelina not only as an actress but as a producer of the film. She is a true professional”. Also the star said that in the near future will probably be removed the third part of “Maleficent”.
