Actress Kate Beckinsale brought to the capital of the film “underworld: blood War” and confessed his love to Russian culture.

The actress presented her new film “underworld: blood War” is the fifth part of the audience favourite of the franchise “Another world”, which tells about the confrontation of vampires and werewolves. Warrioress vampire Selene, played by Kate enters the last battle with the werewolves and the vampire clan who betrayed her. The picture leaves in the Russian hire on November 24.

As in previous parts, the film is soaked in Gothic atmosphere. However, in real life stars Gothic has no place: “It would be quite strange if I’m in ordinary life, wore Gothic clothes and would make the appropriate design in your home. Gothic enough for me in the movie,” said Beckinsale.

“I think that vampires and werewolves actually exist. In the world there are a lot of terrible things. I have not had a chance to meet them, but I’m sure they must be afraid of me. Vampires are certainly in London there’s generally all there is”.

“I speak a little Russian, I studied the language at Oxford. The first performance in which I played, was “the Seagull.” I love Russian literature – Chekhov, Dostoevsky. I also like the poetry of Akhmatova and Blok,” says Kate, adding, “There is one Russian movie that made a lasting impression on me – hard, but very necessary.
