Singer and songwriter told “StarHit” on cooperation with the Russian celebrities. Konstantin Legostaev participated in the “star Factory-5” under the command of Alla Pugacheva. The musician remembered the time on the project, told where gaining popularity and as we found family happiness.

Fame Konstantin Legostaev received through participation in the popular project “star Factory”. The fifth season of the TV show was directed by Alla Pugacheva. Despite the fact that Constantine was already known as a composer, the audience learned about him as a talented singer. Now, 12 years later after taking part in “star Factory,” the musician continues to tour, and his songs performed by many stars of the Russian show business. In a conversation with “StarHit” it became clear that now Konstantin Legostaev not only a successful composer, whose musical compositions become hits, but also family-oriented.

On “Factory of stars” you came already being quite a famous composer. I changed the project in your life?
It’s been 12 years, I thought this question would not be. I joke that my life has changed just as much as Polina Gagarina, with only one difference – it shows on the First channel and not me. But seriously, after the project I became more sought-after composer. Writing songs not only for themselves but also for other famous artists – Lolita, Nikolai Baskov, Ani Lorak, Dima the Sorcerer. Recently I was approached by a finalist of “the Voice” Gela Guralia. Two of my songs already recorded, now removes clips. I am pleased that many of my songs become hits. I am very grateful to the project because I met a lot of people, especially with Alla Pugacheva. —
Your songs performed by other artists become hits, they put in heavy rotation on the radio, and I can’t hear you…
My songs are cool, but not on the leading radio stations. It seems to me, all the time. For the last year there were two hits – “don’t matter” and “Religion of love”. I have doing well on the Internet. I also give concerts – not, of course, to every day, but five performances in a month happens in different parts of the country. It’s nice that people take me perfectly. When people ask me: “Where have you been, why haven’t you heard?”, I answer: “what do you see where listen to?” Well, there’s me on channel, not on leading radio stations. My song is now in rotation on American rock radio, where there are songs in Russian, and recently took first place, beating many others. After “idol” I decided to work with producers, and I will not hide that to me did not continue. I may not be best – I used to do everything myself – to compose music, record. I like to work, because I do not have to answer to anyone, to justify.—
Did not regret about time which has spent on “Factory of stars”? Catch you disappointed after the end of the project?
No, of course not! I with such people met, this project is such a gift. I’m happy I got the opportunity to visit the “star Factory”. Well, judge for yourself, this is the opportunity – in three months you show on the First channel, it’s a PR. Surprised that some people have expressed at least some dissatisfaction. —
Many complain about touring conditions, continuous traveling, salaries. For you it was a serious temptation?
Yes, a test – it’s a gift. It seems to me that 80% of “manufacturers” are happy at least for a month back in time and ride across the country. Tour we lasted a year. It surprises me when I hear that the pay was low. For example, I have a month left three and a half thousand dollars and an apartment on Tverskaya I was shooting for $ 350. Once it was hard I lost my voice, could not even “Thank you” from the stage to say. For a week I got suspended from concerts, gave the rest up. During this time I almost screamed – because I wanted to work.

On “Factory of stars” viewers watched your beautiful love story with the girl Olga – you arranged the date, they all admired the relationship. How did your relationship with Olga?
We parted like ships at sea. This is an old story. As it so happened.—
Now you found the family happiness?
Yes, recently celebrated one year old daughter Masha, my wonderful wife Victoria and eldest daughter, Veronica, she is already 13 years old. It’s really my second half. We met her two and a half years ago. Rode the train, I saw her and realized that it was my man. But her phone number I did not have. Six months later, met by chance in a cafe. Everything went well. I try not to advertise their relationship and not to spread in social networks of family pictures. —
Your daughter is already showing interest in music?
Of course, she looks at how I work. We are two synthesizers, Mary Brincat the guitar, she likes. Don’t know whether she has a further interest in music is such a work, and indeed, as lucky. In this case well enough to learn.

A few years ago you tried to produce Klushnikova Daria, with whom he was on “star Factory”, but the project is not specified. What happened?
She had family life – a wonderful husband Alexey Yanin, unfortunately he’s sick now. We with Dasha spoke three weeks ago, he’s improving there. The mood in her normal. She plays in the theater, however, I haven’t been to her performances.

Usually you offer your songs to other performers or they turn to you with a request to write for them?
When as. Sometimes I write and know exactly who it would fit, it happens that someone likes what I wrote, sometimes I ask specifically for myself to create. Hit lolita’s “Tell me how to love” was originally performed by me. One day I called Lola and asked: “Sell it to me I’ll pay any money”. I decided to give the song a second life. After a while we recorded the duet “Time to love”. Or once was, so I wrote the song “give my Life” and thought it would fit Ani Lorak. Found her contacts, got in touch. A week later comes the answer: “It’s a bomb, we take”. —
Now Alla is preparing to return to the stage. Maybe she chose the repertoire of what you wrote?
We communicate by phone, congratulate. I periodically send her songs but yet she did not take yourself. —
Maybe calling you to teach at her school?
No, I’m not a teacher. I am often invited to children’s competitions as a jury member.

What has changed in the 12 years after the “Factory”? What are you now?
I can say one thing – I have become wiser. In dealing with people, in relation to itself, to work. More relaxed about things. If before I was nervous that a radio does not take my songs, don’t think about it. —
It does not hurt when it comes to failure?
Now failure doesn’t come because the send songs, I stopped. Post new song online, and I will call some radio stations. Everything is as it should be. —

What don’t you like as a composer in the modern show business? How about the songs that are popular now? Can criticize the lyrics, music?
I am glad that the understanding of quality music. Many young musicians who are unknown to the General public, do not need this glory. Some of the year concerts, they don’t need to light up everywhere – they have their own audience. Conversely, those who heard on the radio and on TV, do not sell tickets to their concerts.
