Popular British singer ed Sheeran, who after a year’s hiatus broke into the top international charts, will appear in the new season of the popular HBO series “Game of thrones”, based on the motives of series of novels by George R. R. Martin’s “a Song of ice and fire”. This information is confirmed by the Executive producers of the TV show David Benioff and D. B., Weiss.

This Sunday during the film festival South by Southwest held in Austin, the producers said that ed Sheeran actually got a small cameo role. Ed is not the first singer, who will appear in the series. It is already known that the show was a part of will champion of Coldplay and Gary Lightbody of “Snow Patrol”.
Contrary to earlier information according to which the whole story is unlikely to fit into eight episodes, the producers said that the last season of the series will consist of only six episodes.
