The artist's lawyer Sergei Zhorin expressed surprise that this incident was generally made public.

“Given the details of what happened, I am perplexed for what purpose the official made this incident public. And we have no doubt that it was he who leaked the video with the finale of the conflict to the media, without showing how and why it all started. When it becomes known about all the circumstances of this conflict, this is unlikely to have a positive impact on the reputation of a civil servant,” the lawyer said.
