Moscow hosted the “games of winners”.

In
Moscow hosted the eighth world children’s “games of winners” — international
sports competitions among the kids beating cancer, a bright celebration of life and
sports.

“Games of winners”
opened with solemn creation of teams, which had actress,
the founders of the Fund “give life” Chulpan Khamatova and Dina Korzun, Paralympic
champion Olesya vladykina, two-time world champion on volleyball Ekaterina Gamova, Paralympic champion Sergey Shilov.

incredible fighters, undisputed winners — all of you!”, said Dina Korzun.

“Games of winners” — your next and very important achievement. You clever,

For three days children
competed in six sports: athletics, table tennis,
swimming, shooting, football and chess. The competition was designed for
participants with different physical training. Participants with limited
opportunities were offered special sports – walking
support and check in on a wheelchair.

“Games of winners” — the world’s largest competition for
children who survived cancer. This rehabilitation project
helps children who stayed in the hospital for months and even years, to believe in
yourself to overcome the fear and uncertainty, set goals in life and to have the power
to achieve them.

For the eighth consecutive year Game
organized by the Russian charitable Fund “give life”. The First Game
was held in 2010 at the Moscow stadium “the locomotive” and became unforgettable
event for 200 children from 8 countries. The popularity of Games is growing, and every year
the geography of the participating countries is expanding.

In Games-2017 took part more than 500 children aged 7 to 16 years. To celebrate the victory over
disease team came from many regions of Russia and 14 countries:
Armenia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Hungary, Germany, India, Kazakhstan, Latvia,
Lithuania, Moldova, Serbia, Turkey, Ukraine, And Croatia. Participants of the Games, speaking
different languages and educated in different cultures, unite the joy of victory and
the power of the spirit. They have each shown courage and perseverance during a long and
difficult treatment. Every day of his life, every victory — sports and
not only they prove that cancer is a challenge but not a sentence.
