In the world, and now in Russia, the Carlsberg Foundation has submitted a recreated lager, which, alas, cannot become a new trend, even the rich and famous beer lovers.

It all started with the amazing finds in the cellars of Carlsberg in Copenhagen: scientists have discovered the oldest bottle of beer, which after 133 years was still live yeast cells. Thanks to modern technology, the experts of the Laboratory managed to extract, explore and grow these cells and found that in the bottle was a beer fermented for the first time in 1883 on the original pure culture of yeast. We can safely say that this discovery has made a real revolution in brewing.

And on the eve, the representatives of the Foundation and Carlsberg Laboratory visited Russia to personally present the results of this unique experiment is recreated Carlsberg lager, brewed using pure cultures of yeast, which makes it the ancestor of most modern varieties of beer throughout the world.

This event was so important that his visit honored Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark to Russia Thomas Winkler, and the beer itself so valuable and unique that even try it will be only one in the world, and one of the exclusive bottles will be stored in Saint-Petersburg in the Museum of the history of the brewing company “Baltika”.
