Andriy Danylko is suing the manufacturer of kvass because of copyright infringement. Soon to be held a court hearing on the violation of their copyright. The famous Ukrainian artist, known under the pseudonym of Verka Serduchka, is suing the manufacturer of kvass “Kvas Verkin Classic” and “Verkin Kvass Hangover”.

Because of the bureaucratic system, the trial lasted for about ten years. All this time the manufacturer uses for its label the image of Verka Serduchka. Due to lack of agreement, Andrew has filed a lawsuit against OOO DARL, and won the case, however, the manufacturer filed an appeal. Danilko requires not only to recover moral damages, but to put the defendant court costs. In addition, the remaining batch of products should be withdrawn.

“I don’t understand, how can we even talk about some of the appeal in this case? There is the illegal use of the image of Verka Serduchka for their own enrichment, confirmed by all possible documents and facts purchase this brew in different countries. And the court of first instance triggered quite rightly and professionally. And now these people want to prove that black is white?” — angry artist.
