The world famous Russian
tennis player Maria Sharapova was suspended for two years due to
use of Meldonium. The relevant ruling made by the international
tennis Federation (ITF), denoting the period of Ineligibility from 26 January 2016. Due
decisions of the Federation Sharapova will not be able to participate in the summer Olympic games
in Brazil. However, she has the right to appeal the decision of the ITF in the Sport
the court of arbitration of London.
