The other day Robert Downey Jr. told his fans joyful
news. He said that the shooting of the new, third film in the franchise of Sherlock
Holmes will begin this year! And now in full swing preparatory
work.

Recall that Robert played the famous detective already
twice. In 2009, he first appeared in this way in guy Ritchie’s movie “Sherlock
Holmes”, and two years later turned into a master of deduction — in the sequel,
called “Game of shadows”. And, since both films were acclaimed by critics
and good fees at the box office, the producers were going to proceed immediately to
filming the third part of movie series.

Alas, their plan was impossible. The thing
the fact that Downey became so popular an actor that categorically could not in his shooting schedule to find a “window” for filming in Sherlock. So
the project has been postponed for as much as 5 years. “If we could make a movie
on Skype, he has long gone on the screens!” — joked recently, Robert, having
in view of the tremendous workload, and not only his, but also the other members
the crew, including the role of Dr. Watson — Jude law.

“To make films about Sherlock — not an easy task. Of course,
we have a lot of work, and I know that we are all terribly tired. But still waiting for the start of the filming with great anticipation!” — said the actor.

What will be the fee that was offered to Robert for his
the appearance in the third film of the franchise, not yet reported. But it is clear that, most likely, eight: Downey rarely pay less than 10 million
dollars per film. And it allows him three years in a row to take the top spot
in the list of highest paid actors in Hollywood.
