Yesterday, the First channel refused to broadcast “Eurovision”, which this year will take place in Kiev. The decision of the representatives due to the fact that the Russian singer Yulia Samoylova is not allowed on the territory of Ukraine. It was also reported that the option of replacement of a participant is not considered.

After some time, the European broadcasting Union expressed regret about the situation. “Russia will not participate in the 62nd contest “Eurovision”. We really want all 43 countries have been able to take part in the competition this year and did everything possible to achieve this”, – says the official statement of the organization.

Journalists contacted by singer Yulia Samoilova, to learn her opinion on the recent events. The actress did not hide their emotions. According to Julia, she kept the hope that things will get better. However, this did not happen.
