Alexander Petrov played a major role in the new Russian series “Gogol”, which won the American film festival Accolade Global Film
Competition. The winners of this festival repeatedly became winners of Golden
Globe and Oscar, among its “medalists” was a project by Ridley Scott and Ron Howard. And now the Americans gave the palm to the Russian “Gogol” (the show is scheduled on channel TV-3) by awarding the film in
the nomination “Award of Excellence” — with the wording “For the thrilling storyline, excellent
camera work and the incredibly detailed special effects.”
