The North American premiere of “Dislike”
Director Andrei Zvyagintsev will be held at the international film festival in
Toronto, the most prestigious program of “Masters” (Masters), in which
traditionally putting together a new work of major international Directors. So, in

Haneke, “Persons of the village,” Agnes Varda, “On the other side of hope” Aki Kaurismaki.

The film “Hate” tells the story of modern
Moscow family, is experiencing a severe, painful divorce. The main characters (Jack
and Boris) — even spouses, but each of them has actually started a new Chapter in
life, and because they can’t wait to do away with the formalities and divorce. In
a series of endless conflicts and mutual claims, Eugene and Boris neglected
his only child, 12-year-old Alyosha, who feels absolute
the uselessness of both parents. Suddenly, after another quarrel, he
disappears.
World premiere of the film “Dislike” was held in
the main competition program of the jubilee of the 70-th Cannes international
film festival, where the film was awarded the jury Prize. Also, at the end of
festival “Dislike” received the highest scores from the jury of the international
critics of the magazine Screen
International.
In addition, the film won the Grand Prix at the international festival in Munich.
