Shoot c Duchess of Cambridge for the June issue of British Vogue was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the magazine.

Representatives of the Royal family said that Kate Middleton was happy to become the face of the fashion magazine, like Vogue.

“The Duchess was pleased to participate in the centennial celebration of the establishment of the publication, which became the platform for many of the most famous photographers in the history of the country”, – says the official address of Kensington Palace.

Previously Kate Middleton has repeatedly recognized style icon and one of the most beautiful women in the world, but on the cover of fashion magazines she did not appear even once. Shooting for Vogue was for her debut.

By the way, Princess Diana, which is often compared to Kate Middleton, appeared on the cover of Vogue three times: in 1981, 1991 and 1994.
