Today marks the anniversary of Vladimir Presnyakov-senior: the musician was 70 years old.

In 1975 Presnyakov-the senior began performing with the ensemble “Gems”. During this time, had created a lot of hits: “Summer, summer, summer”, “Ali Baba”, “You say”, “Paper boat” and many others.

Songs the musician performed with the brightest stars of the national stage: Alla Pugachova, Alexander Gradsky, Larisa Dolina, Lev Leshchenko, Mikhail Boyarsky.

Since 1987, the contractor works together with his son Vladimir Presnyakov-younger, acting as a saxophonist at his concerts.

In 1996 Presnyakov-the senior has received the title of honored artist of Russia, and in 2007 was awarded the title of honored art worker of the Russian Federation.
