As announced
late last night in Cannes, the drama of our compatriot Cyril
Serebryannikova “Student” was awarded the prize named Francois Chalet — for most vivid
a reflection of the realities of the modern world. Although, of course, it is a pity that the film has received
reward for which he struggled — in the competitive program “the Special sight”.

“Grand Prix”, the second highest award, went this year 27-year-old Xavier Dolan for the drama
“It’s only the end of the world”, in which she plays Marion Cotillard and Vincent Cassel.
This decision surprised many because of ambiguous critics praised the work of Dolan.
