Actress Alena Chekhov first began leading the opening ceremony
The 39th Moscow International film festival.

“I have the honour to invite on stage Nikita
Mikhalkov to announce the winner of the prize “For outstanding contribution to
cinema”, which was Franco Nero, says Chekhov. — The conduct of the ceremony was my
first experience. And I was excited.

But my co-host Daria Moroz and
Egor Klimovich, seeing my experiences, as a friend, supported me and gave some valuable tips on how to behave on stage. By the way, I did not warn my friends who came to the festival that I would be leading, and then worried even more — made this a surprise! After the ceremony my friend
Director Eugene Nevsky said I was very natural in this role”.

The presence of Alena at the festival does not end there. The audience can see it in the American film “Misfire” (“Dead
trigger”), the show which will be held on 28 June in the cinema
“October”.
