Brick is played by the star of stage and screen, Irina Medvedeva, who told us about the preparation for the role.

“For me
the avant-garde movement in art and literature was always something
strange. Realistic art touches me, inspires,

I was afraid that the audience will
bored… because this is such a special poetry, incomprehensible. But after seeing the room, which

interesting and so accurate! It was all so quick, these forms of plastic
the solutions are cling me emotionally — and in those seconds, I got

As for
my character role of Lily Brik is a challenge. Play mysterious
heroines are always more interesting than characters with a simple and clear fate. Lilya Brik — a woman who was admired by his contemporaries — and in his youth, and to
the last days. Her whole life went to consult the famous people — what
to publish that there is whether to put the play… What was supposed to be a woman, just for her
the opinion focused on an entire generation of people? This is the first question. The second is female, her relationship to love, to the relationship between a man and
woman. It was something strange…

In the me, with one
the parties would like to bring in the image of something special, and on the other hand
I would like to show this character a real person, with real instincts. Many Actresses
my dream is to play historical figures and me Lana lucky, thank you
heaven — sent me to play Semi Negri, Marilyn Monroe, and Edith Piaf
and now — Lilya Brik. This is the first Russian historical figure in
my theatrical life. Now I am very interested to explore it, I said to her

eyeing her, choose colorings, sort, searching… For me the basis
