Opera singer Dmitri Hvorostovsky forced to postpone upcoming gigs.

At the beginning of December it became known that from-for deteriorations of health of the artist the premiere of the Opera “don Carlos” at the Bolshoi theater canceled. British doctors, treating Hvorostovsky from brain cancer, urged him rest and continued therapy. Dmitry said that in the near future will not participate in the Opera productions.

However, the singer did not cancel the annual concert in the Kremlin on 14 December, as well as performances in St. Petersburg – it took place on December 18. On Tuesday it became known that Hvorostovsky was hospitalized in a hospital in the Northern capital, he found pneumonia. According to the official representative of the star status of the singer is not serious, but he will have to stay in the clinic for some time. In this regard the concert in Krasnoyarsk, scheduled for 22 December was postponed to February next year, the speech in Yekaterinburg on 28 December will take place in 2017.
