“The Ural pelmeni” has more than twenty years of my life. In 1994
database of student construction brigades from the Ural Polytechnic Institute
created KVN team of USTU-UPI, and we began to play KVN. Of course, not thought
then that humor will be part of our profession that the “Dumplings” will become popular,
a great TV show. We just wanted to prove to themselves, their peers, the girls that
can do something funny on stage. We have received enormous pleasure from
that came out to the audience that they laughed at our jokes. This reaction
hall, this reverse energy that came from our students was our main
reward. And that scene will become a profession, and did not think.
By the way,
when I graduated from USU, I decided to learn from the actor. Went to St. Petersburg,
to enter the LGITMiK. But late in the first round. I was offered to stay in
Peter, to work a year in some theater working stage, and then again
to do. But I went home to Yekaterinburg. Then was upset that “flew”.
But now I understand that it was fate. Don’t know how I would have developed my life
if I arrived on time, did, studied, got a diploma of an actor…

So often
sometimes when artists come to fame and money, they begin to belittle
participation of a producer in their fate. The producer understands that the project took place
thanks to his talent and efforts, and the actors begin to think that we have achieved all
themselves, without any help. So we happened. I tried for a long time
to negotiate, but nothing came of it… My lawyers today won all
courts. In General, we would with the guys has long agreed. But they are now in charge

in 2007 I moved and created your first project — “SHOW NEWS” on TNT (came two
of the season). By the way, this was my first experience of television product ”
scratch”, and I learned a lot, including the producers of TNT.

And our ways
with the “Ural dumplings” that my creative destiny of the actor and producer
was associated for about 20 years, went…
the guys gave hundreds of concerts. And every performance is something new. After all
our concerts only 80 percent of the prescribed scenario, and 20 —
improvisation. And in any program there are reservations (sometimes they are
very funny, and then we turn them into special editions), some
inconsistencies, mistakes, even fall decorations. In one Christmas program I have
three times it shot confetti special tube. The audience was dying with laughter when
I once again appeared from the wings and tried to shoot. In some
the moment this pipe picked up Andrei Rozhkov, began to look into the “barrel” — that
there is not work? And literally a moment after he looked away
from the “muzzle”, there was a shot. He was incredibly lucky that did not come with confetti
in the face…
In our
the team, as in any family, there was also love, and friendship, and quarrels, and jealousy, and
sarcastic jokes, and the spirit of competition. While copyright fees we
there was workshops, and we competed whose humor is the best. And
then came the moment when I felt that we reached the ceiling. What
it is impossible to continue to stay in a cosy cocoon, you can’t go on the beaten track, let
and a very successful track to be looped only on his “product”. I like
producer, realized that the team needs to evolve, to try something new,
to invite new people. But then the guys did not support me: why take the risk
to change something, if we and so all is well and full houses. As a result inside
collective Mature conflict, which in recent years has grown like a snowball, the different layers: organisational and financial. We are unable to agree, and, in

“Ural dumplings” continue to live. I just out them out, and show
adding new young actors who were once at us writers. The format and
the structure of the project remained the same, even the team that produces the show, which I collected,
almost all left: Directors, cameramen, svitavice, decorators and makeup artists. This is understandable. Why change something if it works and the mechanism is built.
Only noticed that the scenery changed slightly and updated…

Besides work, I have family and I are happy to have their children — they have three, so I’m three times lucky! Though
my wife and I two years ago (and lived together for 18 years), doing everything
ensure that the children feel safe and happy. The wife now lives
in Ekaterinburg — she was so comfortable. We normally communicate, and the children
now, just two houses — mom’s and dad’s.
Senior
son, I already moved to Moscow, where I live alone, with the younger trying
to see each other as often as possible. For example, always take children with you on vacation. And
long flights don’t scare me. We love to travel and Russia, and
border. Already been to Europe, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, USA.
Remember, we
vacationing in Singapore for Christmas. And night children went swim — swam in
huge pool with underwater lighting. This was one: all the rest
the hotel was just too scared that night to make noise, to scream. It was fantastic
feeling: winter +25, Christmas, swimming pool… And an hour in the pool slowly began to catch up with other guests. They apparently did not know that you can so
night, without asking, to have fun. Half an hour later people came as
that “free” water is almost gone.

Especially
we had one noisy Asian family, I thought, Chinese. I decided that I needed to win for the Russian part of the basin. And
I’m right in the “Chinese” said to the children: “Run and jump in the pool
the “bomb” that people realized that this is our territory!” And they are happy
jumped into the water shouting “Attack!”. Asians sailed to the side, so we
conquered their space and have fun on. And then the kids told me
it was a family from Mongolia, where all are well aware of Russian language.
Was embarrassing and funny. But then the Mongols met, laughed and
talked all night….
I have
beautiful children. Eldest son Timothy, in my opinion, a true techie:
well versed in computers, IT-technologies. Tim still attends school
(he’s 15 years old), but I already suggest him to think about his choice of profession, because the
before he determined what he wanted to do in life, the better. He moved to

The middle son
