“Our film is not short of well-known
works, but an author’s reading, a story based on the book, —
says Konstantin. — Tolstoy’s text on the screen can not show. Read it over — it’s not a movie, you need
to look for some equivalents visual, effective. Therefore, Elena
Paradise and I spent the adaptation of the trilogy under a movie. I’m happy
to touch such a powerful piece. I think it rhymes with our
time. The problem of the choice facing the characters of this novel — the eternal”.

The movie also starred Anton Shagin (Aleksey Bessonov), Andrew Merzlikin (Arkady Jades), Liza Rastorgueva (Svetlana Khodchenkova), Evgeniy Stychkin (Makhno).

Filming will take place in Saint-Petersburg, Moscow,
Pyatigorsk and Riga. The television series is removed with the support of the Ministry of culture, the 100th anniversary of the October revolution.
