In turn, representatives of the European broadcasting Union said they were looking for innovative ways to participate in the contest and invited Yulia Samoilova to play into it remotely. Foreign organization said the government’s decision “absolutely unacceptable” and continues to insist on the participation Samoilova in an international competition.
“I deeply regret that “Eurovision” is used for political purposes. It has delighted millions of people and unite them, not to use in order to ignite political scandals and send them against each other,” said the EBU Director Ingrid Deltenre.
If a “satisfactory solution” is found in the next few weeks, according to the representative of the European broadcasting Union, Ukraine may impose sanctions and to exclude it from the contest, reports newspaper Blick.

The petition, posted online, received over 87 thousand signatures. According to celebrity, it humanly touched the history of the artist.
