June 16 concert of Status Quo in Turkey has ended unexpectedly. On stage was a bad vocalist and guitarist of the band Rick Parfitt. The man fainted during a speech. The medical team examined the behind the scenes musician, came to the conclusion that he suffered a heart attack.

Ambulance Parfitt was taken to the hospital early the next morning.

Rick continued participation in the tour of the team in question. While he is undergoing tests and some treatment, his place in the group is Freddie Edwards, the son of bass guitarist John Edwards.

“We do not make any further statements until after the next round of surveys and will not appear certain medical decisions. It will take a few days,” said the band’s Manager Simon porter.
