You have a rather unusual alias Helga, whose history is tied to an ancient witch. And you feel “witchy roots”?

In a terrible accident killed my sworn brother and his wife. I think this is the biggest tragedy of his life, we were supposed to grow old together.—
As you are away from the homeland – you lived in Finland, and in Switzerland and Ireland?
And I don’t live “far from home” – I about half the time I spend in Russia. So I have this strange feeling when I am perceived as the immigrant.—

It’s tiring, of course. Just got unpacked, settled down and it is time again to put things, look for a new apartment, school, to re-establish a way of life… But kids are very experienced travelers and soldiers persistent, they are great, are well adapted.—
Is it hard to raise two daughters, especially abroad? Is there education, the manner of communication, behavior in society?
“There” is a very General concept. Each country has their own peculiarities, and, say, the Austrians and the Swiss, even the expense of asking different, although they say conditionally in the same language. As for school, it’s important to me that children go to international schools – it is in order to facilitate adaptation when moving. But honestly, I’d like to return to Russia and live here.

How do you spend time with her daughters?
I’m doing homework with children, if you want my help, but, in principle, I am for independence. The girls cook together, sing songs, watch movies, and ride on the weekends on the carousel… well, normal life.—
In one interview you were asked where you get the fee after the tour. And you suddenly said, “Distributing debt”! Really, creativity doesn’t bring you enough money to feel comfortable?

Of course, there were. In the early 90s, we bought 300 grams of cheese a month, and it is still believed that we splurge some families have cheese or none at all. You’re not only a singer but also a teacher, and even in University! How to react to students when their teacher is a rock star?
First you have to understand that I taught at his alma mater, Moscow state University before he became a rock star, and,especially, long before I had to move abroad. With regard to communication with students, I immediately set a clear framework: I’m a teacher, so any communication with me as an artist is impossible. You’ve written several books. Isn’t it time to take up the memoir?

You have said many times that love mountains and mountain climbing… why do you keep this sport?
When you live in Switzerland, how strange not to start to ski. I am very glad that in the Swiss and Austrian schools have “ski week” in the winter, so my daughter also ride. But with the mountains I am bound, first and foremost, mountain tourism and mountaineering – at the time my husband passed a number of categorical routes and mountaineering in the Caucasus and in the Alps. —
Music you have all the fun with writing, too, and design clothes like?

WWF is an international organization, SOS children’s villages, too, and I am very glad that the Russian fundraisers actively cooperate with their counterparts abroad, do everything at a good level. From the “personal” achievements can tell you that recently the snow leopard (IRBIS) crossed with red red book yellow. And, you know, I like to think that my support of programs to rescue the big cats, WWF has made it a little bit.
