“MONSTA X” now a group of six people. Care Wonho was announced on 31 October, and the singer wrote a heartfelt message to fans about his departure from the group.
The company “Starship Entertainment” announced on October 31 that Wonho left the mega-popular South Korean hip hop boy band group. “After a long discussion with a member of the “MONSTA X” Wonho, we agreed that at this stage it is best to part amicably”, the statement reads. “We respect the decision of Wongo who wants to make sure that the recent chain of events does not distract from all the exciting events that happen to MONSTA X now, and what awaits us in the future.” The company said that “very sorry for any inconvenience this might be the reason of frustration for our fans.”

Vongo will not participate in any other activities with MONSTA X. This group will continue to work in groups of six. “We regret to inform about this disappointing news, especially the amazing fans of MONSTA X, which has always supported and cared about the group. We promise to return with better music and stage for the fans MONSTA X”, the statement reads.
Vongo also shared a photo of a handwritten e-mails, which he wrote to the fans. “First, I would like to apologize for not being able to keep my promise that I will leave only good memories for our fans and will hurt them. Also, I apologize for what has caused concern among many people because of my personal problems,” he wrote. “I apologize for causing harm to team members because of problems associated with me. Most of all I hate to disappoint my fans who believed in me. I made this decision after seeing that many people are hard for me.”

The group “MONSTA X” is going to perform at Jingle Ball concerts in the US in December 2019. The group will also attend the ceremony 2019 MAMA (Mnet Asian Music Awards) 4 Dec. The absence of Wongo will be felt, but we wish him all the best.
