The new collection was presented by the brand in the magnificent Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire. The place was chosen for a reason: cruise collection refers to the past of this amazing place where, in 1954 and 1958 included the shows of Christian Dior. The cruise collection’s creative Director for Dior makeup Peter Philips has created an ultra-modern makeover in contrast with a show devoted to memories.

Eyes

The main focus in this image was made at a glance, which became a Manifesto of modern graphic edge.

Peter Philips explains: “I used deep bronze shades from the autumn palette 5 Couleurs Parisian Sky, which was applied to all the upper eyelid, from the roots of the lashes to the eyebrows. This extreme eye makeup played on the contrast with the Baroque luxury Palace”.

Tone

Radiant, flawless tone was created with Diorskin Forever fluid. Peter Phillips says: “I emphasized the relief of the face with the new DiorBlush stick Light & Contour. When applied under the cheekbones and on the protruding part of the face of dark and light shades respectively, the architecture of the face manifests itself gently, but very effectively.

As a final touch I lightly touched the skin radiant Diorskin Nude Air powder Luminizer. This make-up, gently feathered in the gentle haze, was very natural and filled with inner light”.

Lips

Peter Phillips left her lips natural, delicately stressing their bright peach lip gloss Dior Addict Gorgeous.

Nails

The manicure was done in elegant light shade lacquer Dior Vernis Muguet.

Hairstyles

Unchanged stylist Guido Palau removed the strands from the face with gel, leaving the main length of the hair to fall naturally onto the backs of the models.
